Do I need to know which service I need?
No. Start by describing the property, concern, and outcome you want. An initial conversation can help define a useful scope.
What happens during a pond assessment?
The exact scope varies, but may include discussion of goals and pond history, a field review of the watershed and shoreline, physical observations, relevant measurements, plant or habitat observations, and prioritized recommendations.
Can you tell me what fish to stock?
Yes, when a stocking recommendation is appropriate. Responsible guidance considers pond size and condition, existing fish, habitat, productivity, management goals, and future harvest—not simply a standard stocking list.
Do you sell fish or management products?
Ozark Stewardship focuses on independent, science-based assessment, education, and recommendations. Product or contractor needs can be discussed as part of a management plan.
Will I receive written recommendations?
The deliverable depends on the agreed scope. Written findings, maps, prioritized recommendations, or supporting resources can be included so the next steps are clear.
Where do you work?
Ozark Stewardship is based in Missouri and primarily serves the southern portion of the state. Select projects may also be considered elsewhere in Missouri, southern Illinois, and northern Arkansas. Travel availability depends on location, project scope, and applicable requirements.
